EPD: Man arrested for aggravated battery after woman shot in hand
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - UPDATE: A man has been arrested on an aggravated battery charge after Evansville police say a woman was shot in the hand.

A probable cause affidavit released Tuesday outlines an altercation between Charles Brumitt and another woman.
Evansville police were called to Roselawn Circle after a man claimed the woman broke into his home.
She claims she was getting her property, although police say there was no evidence she lived there.
Authorities say they began to argue and struggle over a gun when she was shot.
In the affidavit, police say the woman told them she met Brumitt at CVS and the two went back to his home. The report also states she told officers they did meth.
Police say the woman told them they then both fell asleep, but she woke up first. It states she tried to leave, but Brumitt grabbed her and pulled her back into the house.
She told police Brumitt hit her in the head and then pointed a rifle at her. She says when she was trying to direct it away from her, the gun went off.
The woman says she was able to run away, and left the area in a Nissan truck.
Brumitt was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
